Spring lake ranch has been cutting ice for almost a century in rural Vermont, USA. This year Dutchtub broke its way into the tradition by warming the local waters and residents to 104 ° F / 40 ° C, a stark contrast to the balmy freezing water, which the residents also took the plunge into.  This experience proved itself special on many levels as the philosophy of the ranch is on par with that of the Dutchtub.  There was a combining of cultures both within  the ranch itself, as a working rehabilitation ranch, and with the Dutchtub.  At times the monotony of daily chores proves itself daunting in the continued engagement of a particular activity.  By taking life to the next level the Dutchtub provided an avenue in which many could engage that would not have otherwise.

"I was fascinated by hearing that there was  going to be a hot tub on the ice, but when I arrived it proved more special than I could have imagined, we were all in another world.," claimed a resident.

Dutchtub looks to continue this relationship with the ranch and further the exploration in taking residents outlook on life back to the basics all while infusing them with the most modern of luxuries.
